Christmas ornaments from DEPOT / Weihnachtsdeko von DEPOT
27 days to go until Christmas. As of Sunday the countdown begins – lighting the first candle of the Advent wreath, as well as opening the first door of the Advent calendar. Until then I don’t know what to do first. Work, driving practice with my daughter on the circuit. making the Advent calendar and the wreath and decorating our home. And if I can somehow manage, I would also like to bake some Christmas cookies. Apart from all that the main question is:
Bis Weihnachten sind es nur noch 27 Tage. Am Sonntag beginnt der offizielle Countdown mit dem 1. Advent. Zeitgleich wird das 1. Türchen des Adventskalenders geöffnet. Bis dahin weiss ich nicht, wo mir der Kopf steht – Arbeit, Fahrstunden mit meiner Tochter, Basteln des Adventskalenders und des -kranzes und das Schmücken unseres Zuhauses. Und wenn ich es irgendwie schaffe, dann würde ich auch gern noch Weihnachtskekse backen. Das größte Problem bereitet mir aber momentan die Frage:
How shall I decorate the wreath this year – funky and colorful? Or classy red, green and gold? What do you think? How will yours look?
Wie soll ich den Adventskranz in diesem Jahr dekorieren – unkonventionell und farbenfroh? Oder klassisch grün, rot und gold? Was meinen Sie? Wie wird Ihr Kranz aussehen?

Ich mag es sehr gern in weiß, aber auch klassisch. Ich hadere noch. Hab auch leider noch nicht so recht Lust und wenn ich so sehe was andere schon alles fertig habe……. Aber ich finde auch man sollte schon bis zum 1 Advent abwarten.
Ich hoffe wir bekommen Ihren Kranz zu sehen. Einen schönen Abend wünsche ich.

Ich mag gern Farbe – klassisch oder auch nicht und ich stimme Ihnen zu, dass die Dinge zum 1. Advent fertig sein sollten – vorher ist es mir auch noch zu früh. Wenn der Adventskranz fertig ist, werde ich ihn vorstellen 🙂

Es gab kein violett, das mir gefallen hätte… 😉 Hatte die Variante auch im Geiste durchgespielt, aber nein, das wird’s nicht. Ich glaube ich tendiere doch zu den klassischen Farben.

I love Christmas decorations – but I have never had a Christmas tree since I left home.
Not a big fan of Christmas, but I love the light, cards, decorations … and some of the Christmas songs.
Yes, I’m a sad person … I know. So long as I have my welcome lights in my windows am I happy.
I wish you good luck with all your Christmas prep and I think it’s fantastic that you keep the tradition alive.

I don’t have a Christmas tree either, because we always have a family Christmas at my parent’s house. So here we “only” do everything but the tree. We like it this way, too 🙂
