This month Jill of Everything Just So and Adrienne of The Rich Life on a Budget present ladies and gents from all over the world showing how they wear their white. Well, I do not wear white clothes, the color simply doesn’t suit me. It drains all the color from my face and makes me look sick.

Im August stellen Jill von Everything Just So und Adrienne von The Rich Life on a Budget Damen und Herren aus der ganzen Welt vor, die uns zeigen, wie sie weiss tragen. Nun ja, ich trage keine weisse Kleidung, weil sie mir einfach nicht steht. Weiss zieht mir die Farbe aus dem Gesicht und ich sehe damit krank aus.

So in order to be able to participate here today I had to think of something else, find something white-ish to go with a color I really love: bold pink! In January I showed you my Louis Vuitton Multicolore white Pochette Accessoires here that I combine with my comfy Polo Ralph Lauren dress.

Um hier heute teilnehmen zu können, musste ich mir etwas überlegen und etwas weisses finden, das ich zu einer Farbe tragen kann, die ich wirklich mag: knalliges pink! Im Januar habe ich Ihnen hier meine Louis Vuitton Multicolore Pochette Accessoires in weiss vorgestellt, die ich mit meinem bequemen Polo-Kleid von Ralph Lauren kombiniert habe. 

I jazzed-up the outfit with a matching vintage Louis Vuitton Multicolore flower brooch. It’s summery and fun and I find and makes the simple dress suitable for an afternoon out with the girls, or for a sundowner somewhere on a summer holiday.

Das Kleid habe ich mit der passenden Vintage Louis Vuitton Multicolore Brosche aufgepeppt. Sie ist sommerlich und fröhlich und macht aus dem einfachen Kleid eines, das man zu einem Mädels-Nachmittag und zu einem abendlichen Drink irgendwo im Sommer-Urlaub tragen könnte.

I brought a “couple” of nail polishes home from yesterday’s essence event for bloggers (more to come soon), i.e. this brand new color & go 199 wild white ways. It’s described as a colour intensifying base. The brush is excellent and the color goes on smoothly and dries extremely quick! When dry, the color is matte. One can add another layer and wear white nails full stop or add something on top, as I did. Because of the multicolor pattern of the Pochette Accessoires I decided to try out the new essence nail art hello foils in 01 hello flashy! graffiti look.

Vom gestrigen essence blogger event habe ich “ein paar” Nagellacke mitgebracht (mehr dazu in Kürze), wie beispielsweise diesen ganz neuen color & go 199 wild white ways, der auch als farbintensiver Unterlack getragen werden kann. Die Farbe läßt sich Dank des tollen Pinsels sehr gut auftragen und trocknet extrem schnell. Wenn trocken, ist der Lack relativ matt. Man kann also eine zweite Schicht auftragen und weisse Nägel zur Schau stellen, oder, wie ich es gemacht habe, fügt noch etwas hinzu. Auf Grund des Multicolore Motives auf der Pochette Accessoires, wollte ich die neue hello foil!  Effektfolie in 01 hello flashy! im Graffiti look ausprobieren.

It’s really easy. Needed is one layer of the hello foils! transfer solution, that’s polished –  in this case over the white lacquer – on the nail. I waited approx. 80 sec. as said in the description that came with the foil and then I simply pressed the foil on my nail and waited a bit. As soon as I had the feeling that the foil had completely transferred onto my nail, I pulled the strip off and…

Es ist ganz einfach: Zuerst wird eine Schicht der hello foils! Transfer Solution auf den Nagel bzw. in diesem Fall auf den weissen Lack gepinselt. Laut Waschzettel soll man ca. 80 Sek. warten, bevor man die Folie auf den Nagel drückt. Nach kurzer Zeit hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die Folie auf den Nagel übertragen war und zog den Streifen ab…

…this is the result! To fix the foil to the nail and add a little shine I added a coat of essence nail art shake me I’m pretty top coat with holographic glitter particles.

…das ist das Ergebnis. Um die Folie zu fixieren und die Nägel ein wenig glänzen zu lassen, habe ich noch eine Schicht shake me I’m pretty nail art Überlack aufgetragen, in dem winzig kleine holographische Glitterpartikel enthalten sind.

 

As I said in the beginning: I don’t wear white clothes, but white in combination with color can make all the difference. I’m looking forward to seeing how others wear their white.

Wie schon eingangs gesagt: Ich trage keine weisse Kleidung, aber weiss kombiniert mit Farbe kann das Tüpfelchen auf dem i sein. Ich freue mich schon darauf zu lesen, wie Andere ihr weiss tragen.
