A few weeks ago I received an invitation to attend the presentation of essence’s new fall/winter products and looks. The essence event took place last Saturday in Munich and I brought home some wonderful cosmetics I’d like to introduce to you in the next two three blog posts. Today it’s all about eyes.

Vor ein paar Wochen erhielt ich eine Einladung an der Vorstellung essence Herbst/Winter Neuheiten teilzunehmen. Das essence Event fand am Samstag in München statt und ich habe einige schöne Produkte nach Hause mitgebracht, die ich Ihnen in den nächsten zwei drei Blog-Posts präsentieren möchte. Heute geht es um die Augen.

essence is relaunching its 3D eyeshadows – their texture is new and improved, softer and easier to blend, the new relief structure offers an ultimate 3D look and creates a cool finish with 3D effect, from satin to metallic, to shimmering, depending on how it’s applied – dry or moist, subtle or strong.

essence relauncht seine 3D Lidschatten. Die Textur is neu und verbessert, weicher und leichter zu verblenden und die Relief-Struktur sorgt für die 3D Optik. Aufgetragen wirkt der Lidschatten von satiniert über metallisch bis hin zu schimmernd, je nachdem, wie er aufgetragen wird – trocken oder feucht, zart oder kräftig.

Swatches of these three 3D eyeshadows show the rich pigmentation. Applied moist the pigmentation appears even stronger. These 3D eyeshadows are available in 9 color sets. My favorite is the green and gold: 02 brazilian sun, reminds me a bit of fall, when the green leaves change their colors.

Die Swatches dieser drei 3D Lidschatten zeigen wie gut sie pigmentiert sind. Feucht aufgetragen, wirken sie noch intensiver. Es gibt diese Lidschatten-Duos in 9 verschiedenen Farben. Mein Favorit ist 02 brazilian sun, grün und gold, eine keine Vorschau auf den Herbst, wenn die grünen Blätter ihre Farbe ändern.

Three new colors are going to join the mono eyeshadows soon: 81 i’m royalty metallic effect in blue, 79 lola petrola shimmer effect and 80 groopy grapes glitter effect in purple.

Drei neue Farben wird es ab 25. August im Mono Eyeshadow Sortiment geben: 81 i’m royalty metallic effect in blau, 79 lola petrola Schimmer Effect in petrol und 80 groovy grapes glitter effect in lila.

I think I will take lola petrol with me on holiday, as it reminds me of the mediterranean sea 🙂  My favorite here groovy grapes – I’ve applied this one moist today as an eyeliner.

Ich glaube ich werde lola petrola mit in’s Reisegepäck nehmen, weil es mich an’s Mittelmeer erinnert   🙂    Hier ist mein Favorit groovy grapes, den ich heute feucht aufgetragen als Eyeliner verwendet habe.

There will also be two more shades of metal glam eyeshadow. One of thems is a coppery  brown, the other one a radiant orchid. They really sparkle!

Es wird ausserdem zwei weitere metal glam eyeshadows geben – einer ein kupferbraun, der andere ein orchideenviolet. Beide glitzern stark.

essence are also adding a box of chocolates: shades of beige, caramel, mocha and chocolate called all about chocolate. This set is a must for every cosmetic bag, because the eyeshadow palette combines everything needed for a good eye makeup.

Es wird auch eine Schachtel Schokoladen bei essence geben, eine all about chocolates Lidschatten-Palette in beige, Karamell, Mokka und Schokoladen-Tönen, eine Must für jede Kosmetiktasche, weil sie alles beinhaltet, was man für ein gutes Augen-Makeup benötigt.

essence are also adding two new liquid eyeliners – one high shine and a matt one. They look really interesting and depending on how dramatic you want your eye makeup to be you decide which one it shall be.

Zudem wird es von essence zwei flüssige Eyeliner geben – einer hochglänzend und einer matt. Ich finde, beide sehen interessant aus. Vom gewünschten Effekt des Augenmakeups wird es abhängen, welche Variante man wählt. 

The eyeshadow colors are subtle or expressive, again, depending on your mood and how you apply them. – Both eyeliners are black – which one do you prefer?

Die Lidschatten Farben können zart oder kräftig eingesetzt werden, was wieder von der Stimmung und der Art und Weise des Auftrags abhängt. – Beide Lidschatten sind schwarz – welcher gefällt Ihnen besser?

lash princess is the new volume mascara with a specially shaped cobra head wand that covers each individual lash in order to create a dramatic look. The packaging is a little piece of art – it looks like a ’50’es evening gown. The mascara glides on smoothly and adds volume and length to my lashes. That’s how I like it!

Die neue Volumen Mascara heisst lash princess und hat eine speziell geformte Kobra-Bürste, die jede einzelne Wimper umhüllt und somit Volumen und Schwung kreiert. Schon die Verpackung ist ein kleines Kunstwerk – sie sieht aus wie ein Abendkleid aus den ’50iger Jahren! Die Wimperntusche lässt sich leicht auftragen, verlängert meine Wimpern optisch und gibt ihnen Volumen. So mag ich’s!  

Today I’ve used all these products on my eyes – the bright rosé say no to dark circles for shadows under my eyes, i <3 stage eyeshadow base for my eyelids, all about chocolates eyeshadows, groovy grapes mono eyeshadow as eyeliner (applied wet) and lash princess mascara. My eye makeup has outlasted me today. While I’m dead tired, my eyelids still look great! That’s what I call very good essence quality!

Heute habe ich all diese Produkte auf meinen Augen benutzt – den say no to dark circles in bright rosé gegen Schatten unter den Augen, die i <3 stage eyeshadow base für meine Augenlider, all about chocolates lidschatten, den mono lidschatten groovy grapes feucht aufgetragen als Lidstrich und die lash princess Mascara. Heute hat mich mein Augen-Makeup überdauert. Während ich hundemüde bin, sehen meine Augenlider noch großartig geschminkt aus! Das nenne ich super essence Qualität!
