One Word Photo Challenge: Lavender

Lavender 1 HappyFace313

This is my entry for Jennifer’s ONE WORD PHOTO CHALLENGE, the topic being LAVENDER. I couldn’t stop taking pictures when I saw these bumblebees on the lavender. It was early in the morning and it was as if they had spent the night sleeping on the blossoms.

🙂 Oh, I don’t see this as a competitive challenge, just a challenge to dig out some interesting / fun / nice / or whatever pictures that fit the topic 🙂

I also love lavender and grow it obsessively! The bees benefit from it which is good for the planet all round. I just did my lavender ‘harvest’ actually to be used as moth repellant in the wardrobe…

🙂 That’s what we plan on doing this year. The idea that we have grown our owen moth repellant makes me kind of proud. And knowing it’s totally natural will make it easy to put it between all our sweaters and cardigans!
      Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
