Despite a lot of work in the office, I had a real neat lunch break the other day! I was invited to preview the new fall winter 2014 GOSH Cosmetics products at the 25Hours Hotel.

Trotz sehr viel Arbeit im Büro, hatte ich letzte Woche eine fantastische Mittagspause! Ich war eingeladen, mir die neuen Herbst Winter 2014 GOSH Produkte im 25Hours Hotel anzuschauen.

GOSH Cosmetics is a Danish brand – so far I have only used one of their lip glosses, but always admired the colors in their palette. It was quite nice, that GOSH Denmark sent their proficient representative Eva to tell us about and show us their new goods.

GOSH Cosmetics kommt aus Dänemark. Bisher habe ich nur einen ihrer Lipglosse benutzt, die Farbpalette hat mir aber schon immer sehr gefallen. Ich fand es sehr schön, dass Eva, eine sehr sympathische und kompetente Mitarbeiterin von GOSH Dänemark bei dem Termin war, die uns die neuen Artikel zeigte und auch vorführte.

I’ve already seen the Lip Lacquers in the store and was quite intrigued by the packaging. A Lip Gloss in a “nail polish” bottle? But hey, it’s called lacquer, because it combines strong colors with the sleek shine of a gloss, so it belongs in there. It’s paraben free and enhanced with Argan oil and vitamin E. I went straight for the Lip Lacquer in 001 Innocent Lips, because Iike to “polish” my lips without having to use a mirror. The color is a natural shine with the slightest bit of glitter. It feels good and I don’t get the feeling of having gunk on my lips after a while, as it happens with many other glosses. And best of all: it’s “Mr.-approved”! He hates it, when I have sticky lips and likes the constancy of this Lip Lacquer!

Die Lip Lacquers habe ich bereits im Geschäft gesehen und war von der Verpackung  fasziniert. Ein Lip Gloss in einer Nagellackflasche? Aber ja, immerhin nennt es sich Lippen Lack, weil es die kräftige Farbe eines Lippenstiftes mit dem geschmeidigen Glanz eines Glosses vereint. Er ist frei von Parabenen und enthält Vitamin E. Ich habe gleich die Farbe 001 Innocent Lips ausprobiert, weil ich mir die Lippen gern zwischendurch ohne Spiegel anmale. Die Farbe ist ganz natürlich, mit einer Spur von Glitzer. Sie fühlt sich angenehm auf den Lippen an, ohne dass man nach einer Weile so eine klebrige Pampe auf ihnen hat. Ganz besonders gut ist, dass dieser Lip Lacquer “Göttergatten Anerkennung” genießt! Er hasst nämlich klebrige Lippen und findet diese Konsistenz auch gut!

However, I still have to get used to the size of the applicator, because it’s much shorter than one of a regular gloss. (sales price 4ml = € 5,99 / BIPA).

Ich muss mich aber noch an die Größe des Applikators gewöhnen, denn er ist viel kürzer als der eines regulären Liglosses (4ml = € 5,99 / BIPA).

They are long lasting, highly pigmented and contain vitamin E to protect against free radicals (4g = € 9,99 / BIPA).

GOSH has also launched PRIME ‘n SET, a primer and mattifying powder that is said to minimize pores and skin imperfections. It can be used as a base or to keep makeup in place and prevent shine (7g = € 13,99 / BIPA).

Prime ‘n Set und die Mineral Puder sind in einer Dose, die ein Sieb enthält und einen speziellen Schließmechanismus haben, so dass man sie problemlos in der Tasche mitführen kann.

The Mineral Powders are available in 3 shades and give medium to full coverage and a flawless appearance. The powder blends easily to the skin and is best used with a mineral powder brush. The mineral powder is perfume and paraben free and contains titanium dioxide in order to keep dangerous rays of sun away from the skin (8g = 13,99 / BIPA).

Die Mineral Puder gibt es in 3 Farben und sie haben eine mittlere bis starke Deckkraft und sorgen für einen makellosen Teint. Das Puder lässt sich einfach auftragen, am besten mit einem speziellen Mineralpuder Pinsel. Weder Parfum noch Parabene sind im Mineral Puder enthalten, dafür enthält es Titanoxid, um die Haut vor gefährlichen Sonnenstrahlen zu schützen (8g = € 13,99 / BIPA).

Too bad that GOSH’s various brushes and tools are not available here yet!

Es ist schon sehr schade, dass man die verschiedenen GOSH Pinsel etc. hier noch nicht kaufen kann!

FOREVER EYE SHADOW stick is new and comes in 8 colors. The eye shadow glides on smoothly and is creamy when applied and when dried lasts for many hours. The other day I had to laugh so hard that I started to cry – the plum colored eye shadow didn’t come off when I rubbed my eyes.

Die FOREVER EYESHADOW Sticks sind neu und in 8 Farben erhältlich. Der Lidschatten lässt sich leicht auftragen und ist cremig-samtig. Nach dem Trocknen hält er viele Stunden lang. Vor ein paar Tagen musste ich so doll lachen, dass mir die Tränen gekommen sind – der plum-farbene Lidschatten hielt, obwohl ich mir die Augen reiben musste.

Beige 02 and Silver Rose 01 are suitable for being used as highlighter or as a base all over the lid.

Die Farben Beige 02 und Rose 01 eignen sich als Highlighter oder auch als Base für das Augen Make-up.

 

All shades have a bold metallic finish and can be worn all over the lid or as a liner. If you’d like to draw a fine line, it can easily be done with an eyeliner brush. These liners, too, are paraben free (1,5g = € 9,99 / BIPA)

Alle Farben haben ein Metallic-Finish und können entweder auf dem gesamten Lid oder als Liner aufgetragen werden. Wer einen ganz feinen Lidstrich ziehen möchte, kann dafür einen extra Lidstrich-Pinsel verwenden. Auch diese Lidschatten-Stifte sind frei von Parabenen.

I like all of these GOSH products without exception. But what I really appreciate is the fact that they’re individually wrapped which guarantees that when I purchase something I get a brand new item for sure. I guess this is accounted for in the price, but it’s definitely worth it to me.

Mir gefallen all diese GOSH Produkte ausnahmslos gut. Was mir aber wirklich ganz besonders zusagt, ist, dass alle Produkte einzeln eingeschweisst sind und somit sichergestellt ist, dass ich beim Kauf wirklich ein nagelneues und unbenutztes Produkt erhalte. Sicherlich fliesst diese Verpackung in den Preis mit ein, aber das ist es mir wirklich wert!
