There are many flowers I like, but amaryllis is my absolute favorite. I prefer them in dark red – just as the ones on the pictures. And as soon as the Christmas season begins, these blooms come back to life everywhere.

Es gibt viele Blumen, die mir gefallen, aber die Amaryllis ist meine absolute Lieblingsblume. Ich hab sie gern in dunkelrot, so wie diese hier auf den Bildern. Sobald die Weihnachtszeit beginnt, tauchen diese Blüten überall wieder auf.

 

 

I will buy them as long as they’re in season from mid/end of November to late January or early February. You’ll always find some in our home in a huge vase on the living room floor. Additionally every now and then I’ll get some for the office, so my colleague and I can enjoy their beauty.

Ich kaufe sie so lange sie Saison haben, von Mitte/Ende November bis Ende Januar/Anfang Februar. In unserem Wohnzimmer steht die ganze Winterzeit über eine riesige Bodenvase mit diesen traumhaften Blumen. Außerdem bringe ich hin und wieder welche mit in’s Büro, damit meine Kollegin und ich uns an ihrer Schönheit erfreuen können.
