No. I think it’s a terrible habit. I wouldn’t like to have chewed-on pens in my bag or my pencil case. / No. Ich finde das ist eine fürchterliche Angewohnheit. Solche abgegnuddelten Stifte möchte ich nicht in meiner Tasche/Federtasche haben!

Is this a trick question? I collect. Yes. Louis Vuitton. And I love their vintage items. That’s why I have the “My little Louis Vuitton Museum” category here on my blog, which I have neglected in the last few months. But promise will get back to it. I’ve already taken lots of pictures… 🙂
Ist das eine SCherzfrage? Ich sammle. Ja. Louis Vuitton. Und ganz besonders mag ich ihre Vintage Teile. Deshalb gibt’s hier auf meinem Blog ja auch die “Mein kleines Louis Vuitton Museum” Kategorie, die ich zugegebenermaßen in den letzten Monaten extrem vernachlässigt habe. Aber ich gelobe Besserung. Es geht hier bald weiter – ich habe schon viele Fotos gemacht… 🙂

.So many good things! One of them was that I was able to attend a rehearsal for the Vienna Opera Ball that takes place tomorrow.
So viele schöne Sachen! Eines davon ist, dass ich mir die Hauptprobe für den Wiener Opernball anschauen konnte.

I will attend the dress rehearsal of the Opera Ball tonight. I’m looking forward to beautiful ballet, a wonderful Jonas Kaufmann and fascinating debutantes. By the way, this year the Viennese Opera Ball will be conducted by a lady, Speranza Scapucci. Isn’t that good news?
Heute Abend werde ich zur Generalprobe des Opernballs gehen. Ich freue mich auf ein wunderschönes Ballett, einen tollen Jonas Kaufmann und faszinierende Debütanten. Übrigens wird die Wiener Opernball-Eröffnung in diesem Jahr von einer Speranza Scapucci, einer Dame dirigiert. Sind das nicht gute Nachrichten?

Eine schöne Aktion, so etwas sollte es auch im deutschsprachigen Bereich geben. Oder gibt es so etwas sogar und ich habe das nur verpasst.

Um Jonas Kaufmann wird Dich meine Schwiegermutte sehr beneiden. Und mein Mann auch. Sind beide Fans.
Ausgerechnet die Bettgröße ist zu persönlich? Lustig, so hat jeder seine persönlichen Zonen. Wir teilen uns 160 x 200 zu zweit – kann jeder wissen, interessiert aber vermutlich niemanden 🙂 .

I love that this years Opera Ball is being conducted by a woman!! Another glass ceiling shattered. Recently I attended a Live Streaming of L’Amour de Loin in Dec 2016, conducted by Susanna Malkki (there is an umlaut over the ‘a’)- the first woman to conduct at the Met since 1903!
No doubt this years Opera Ball will be a lovely event – hope you post some photos. As you may have already figured out from last years opera ball charm send out – I love to collect Pandora, of course I do have a small side collection with some special selected Ohm & Chamilia beads.
For a number of years, I collected Eiffel Towers. A structure that fascinated me even s a child, to see it in person as an adult I couldn’t help but admire the lattice work of steel girders that looks like spun gold when lit up at night. Now that I have filled a sofa table with Eiffel Towers mostly collected when travelling to France, I have had to stop. As the saying goes No room left at the Inn! Of course I could always squeeze in one more, but it would have to be very special – extra baggage fees are so very expensive. At least with Pandora and other beads I can contain them in a relatively small space and wear them when travelling.
Your LV collection is amazing!
Do you ever thin or weed out your collections? If so, do you have a criteria that you use for keeping, and removing items from your collections?

🙂 Dear Lisa,
the dress rehearsal was great and so was the lady conductor! She wore some really cool glittery shoes and proved that she is female in more than one ways. I’ve just sorted through some 200 pictures of the evening, so my eyes have kind of had it for now.

Girlfriend, you have more LV than their Vienna shop has … I hope you got my postcard, because I thought of you when I put Oscar against that bag on Andrassy Avenue, Budapest … just beside their truly beautiful Opera House. So you were with me at that moment. Enjoy the ball-fever.
