(RDT) Ragtag Daily Prompt – Three

.

Today’s Ragtag Daily Prompt theme is THREE. And since I believe things comes in threes and often photograph groups of threes, too I decided to join.

3 eyes – Keith Haring, Albertina Museum, Vienna

.

When visiting the Keith Haring “The Alphabet” exhibition at the Albertina Museum in Vienna last spring, I spotted a Happy Face with three eyes. If I remember correctly it had something to do with the picture’s overall symmetry. Two eyes wouldn’t have been enough for the painting’s proportions. It’s unusual and I like it, as many of this other works of art.

3 bottles of pink nail polish

.

Ok, so I do quite a bit of beauty posts. And it seems that I have developed this teensy-weensy nail polish addiction. Hence I often try to group them with different backgrounds. As these above where pink (but the collection was called purple here) I paired them with a brown and pink Monogram LV Pochette Accessoires.

3 heart shaped cookie cutters

.

I feel that we should all share a little more love in this world. It’s scary how the world is changing and pure evil is spreading. My friend Wivi’s house has been attacked with a bomb here only a couple of days ago. And this hasn’t even happened in a mega city like Beijing or Istanbul, but in a tiny town in Sweden. Hey, what’s happening to our world?!

If I knew how to do this sound cloud thing I’d add the Beatles song “All you need is love” to this post. But since I don’t know how to do it, I guess this will be more of a silent post.

.

three

3 heart shaped boxes

.

Maybe because of the lack of love shared is why I’m obsessed with hearts. They symbolize LOVE and that’s what our world needs a lot more of. Therefore, when Hermès issued a limited edition of scarves and Twillys with hearts, they were on my wish list. What really made my day was when I saw they were delivered in heart shaped orange boxes!

.

three

3 packs of candied almonds

.

What is your favorite number and why?

What a lovely post, Dia ….!!!! Love the heart-shaped boxes. You’re so right about that our world needs a lot of love and you showed me that through you love flowers, still standing beautifully. I wish you a pleasant Sunday … maybe you’re returning to Vienna.
We have to coordinate your visits to Hamburg. I can take direct buses from Helsingborg, 5 hours I will be there. I would love to share Hamburg with you.
Saturday evening Hug with .. loads of love.

My favorite number has always been seven. Since my birthday is October 7th, I’ve always believed that was why I was attracted to the number “7.” When I was 50, I found my birth family. I’d known since I was in my 20s that I had one sister older than me, or so I thought anyway. I also knew that my birth mother was pregnant with another baby after me. Interestingly enough, she had a total of 10 children, of which I am one of SEVEN sisters. That further sealed my love for the number “7!”

So sorry to read about your friend’s house! You can’t get away from evil, that’s for sure.

And you. And addiction to nail polish?? Really??? 🙂 Love your sets of three. I hope you’re enjoying the weekend.

Love that picture with the Hermes boxes! Cannot put any accents on letters so please excuse the spelling btw. 🙂

My fave number? Always number 9 – for lots of different reasons nonetheleast because it is my month of birth.

Claudia, I must have missed the announcement for this months’s *styling” topic?

Hope you enjoyed the holidays. I wish you a very happy 2019 with tons of happiness and joyful moments. xo Sabina
