Bright Square Challenge

My blog’s been down for a couple of days. It appears that this happens roundabout every 2 years. I hate it. Since I’m not a technical whizz kid, it always takes me for ages to find out what might have caused it. However, I think I might have found the issue causing it. Keep your fingers crossed, please!
Hence I’m not “wasting” a lot of words today, but joining The Life of B’s Bright Square challenge here. I found the link on Cee’s Website here .

Macarons and pink champagne – happy memories – #daskleineglück

These photos were taken in August on my last trip to Hamburg, when it was still possible to travel and cross borders. Being able to sit with my family and enjoy a glass of bubbly and some delicious macarons are happy memories. And I’m truly looking forward to more. I’ve gotten my first jab and by end of May I’ll be vaccinated fully. IF all goes well most European countries will agree to the “Green Pass”, a (digital) document that proves that one has received the covid vaccinations, by summer. This will allow us to move around more freely once again. Maybe not far, far away, a but a couple of hundred miles would be fine with me. Just enough to be able to drive up to the north and see my family and enjoy evenings spent by the water with macarons and a glass pink champagne to celebrate life…
Now I hope this post isn’t landing in cyber space once again, but on your laptops, hand-helds, cell phones and who knows what else.
Do you like to mix wine or champagne with something sweet or do you prefer something savory with it?

Nice to see you in the square challenge, Claudia. 🙂 I don’t dislike macrons, but they’re not my favorite. As for champagne, I like it with savory better than sweet, but European sweet is good as it’s not too sweet! I also like my bubbly mixed with a bit of Crème De Mirabelle and having a few mirabelle at the bottom of my glass. Or mixed with Liqueur de Griottines and having a few griottines at the bottom. Or simply with some raspberries at the bottom. 🙂

macarons can be tricky – some of them are most delicious and others plain sweet and sticky.
I haven’t had raspberries in a glass of champagne in ages… must remember that! But all your other combinations sound just as good! I had to actually look up what Liqueur de Griottines is 😉
