Do you have a favorite movie you never tire of watching?

Yes, I would say I have a few – depending on my mood. I love the old movies from the 50ies and 60ies, like Pillow Talk with Doris Day HERE and Rock Hudson HERE, To catch a Thief with Grace Kelly and Cary Grant or How to Marry a Millionaire with Lauren Bacall, Betty Grable and Marilyn Monroe. However, Moonstruck HERE with Cher and Nicolas Cage is also a “could watch it any times” movie. And of course no movie without popcorn.

Do you have a favorite song or special song as a couple?

HAPPY by Pharell Williams is one of my all time favorite songs! Whatever mood I may be in – as soon as I hear this tune I start singing and dancing. It’s a great song to wake up to in the morning!

How do you relax in the evenings?

Oh, goodness – good question! I read and watch some TV. I used to write all my blog posts late at night, but that no longer works for me. Either I get completely wound up so that I can’t sleep, or I fall asleep by the computer… Hence, a good book HERE works wonders for me. However, if it’s a suspense-packed story, it can happen that I read for hours on no matter if I’ve got to go to work the following day or not.

Do you celebrate special birthdays or anniversaries?

Yes, I like to celebrate! My 40^th and 50^th birthday celebrations were with a lot of friends from all over Europe on a little German island. Despite the fact that my BDay is in February and we’ve had snow storms and what not, those were the best parties I can remember. My 60^th was during COVID and I stayed at home with the tiny family I have here in Vienna. It was nice, too. But to be honest, I would have enjoyed a big party!

Celebrate life! 

However, life is too short to wait for a 70^th birthday celebration in a far away distant time. Who knows what life will bring us tomorrow? Or in the next couple of weeks or months? I feel every single day should be appreciated. But most important is to celebrate life in general and to tell our loved ones each and every day that and how much we love them. How do you feel about this?
